Strategic Designer of the usefully improbable.

Christopher Brellis — systemic designer & innovation leader, Senior Manager at EY Studio+. 25+ years of turning ambiguity into things people love.

currently making sense of → new experiences for FS

I turn ambiguity into clarity.

25+ years designing services, systems and digital experiences — for banks, governments, cultural institutions and brands — connecting vision, operations and culture into strategies that deliver measurable impact.

Most recently: GenAI-enabled transformation, agentic AI and new operating models for European financial services.

Working on: systems maps, journeys, governance models, foresight and roadmaps — delivered through workshops your executives will appreciate.

What I bring.

Currently.

At EY Studio+ I sit where design meets the P&L — treating organisations as living systems, and leading experience transformation for financial services, government and healthcare clients across Greece, the UK, the Nordics and MENA.

My commitment

I design the systems behind
what makes us feel.

25+ years, abridged.

    • Led the CX-driven redesign and Sitecore re-platforming of a leading Greek bank — research, benchmarking, journey flows, UX/UI, visual language and Design System.
    • Lead designer for the same bank’s intranet transformation and foundational e-banking journeys, built around personas and prioritised flows.
    • Designed and deployed AI-powered chatbot solutions; creator and evangelist of agentic AI within EY’s AI Ambassador community.
    • Service Design lead in healthcare — collaborative solutions between government bodies and private providers.
    • Strategy engagements in the cultural sector: vision-setting, customer insight, future-readiness.
    • Cross-border delivery across the UK, Sweden, UAE and KSA, including a large-scale Employee Experience platform for a UAE government agency.
    • Led the digital transformation of the programme — full curriculum redesign and syllabi authoring, validated by the Open University, UK.
    • Ground-up AR app for leading European luxury audio/visual brands. Its pandemic-era release contributed to a 7.4% share value increase and 10.4% sales growth in Q3 2021.
    • Conceived and organised the new Department of Design Innovation Research; findings shaped new product development and competitive analysis frameworks.
    • Agile management of UX/UI design operations for a major global FMCG portal — released in over 80 languages with minimal disruption.
    • Strategic ATL/BTL conceptualisation and delivery; led the newly established local team into Leo Burnett’s global partner network.
    • Innovation design studio serving luxury, FMCG and cultural clients: Samsung, Procter & Gamble, Sony, DKNY, the New Acropolis Museum, Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Onassis Foundation.
    • External design provider to the Athens 2004 Olympic Games Organising Committee.
    • Cultural work spanning projection mapping, environments and interactive experiences.
