Expertise: F

Digital experiences.

Places, products and stories people step into, explore and feel, for brands and cultural institutions that want to be remembered, not skimmed.

What makes a story felt, not just read?

People forget what they read. They remember what they explored.

For over two decades I have designed experiences between the physical and the digital: installations and projection mapping for museums and foundations, augmented reality for luxury brands. The medium changes; the aim does not. Immersion that draws people in, curiosity that keeps them exploring, and a feeling they take with them.

Problem, approach, outcome.

Problem

Content that is read, not lived.

Collections, products and places are flattened into pages and PDFs. Audiences skim, and the feeling that makes them care is lost.

Approach

Design the feeling first.

  • The emotion and the story to carry
  • Spaces and moments worth exploring
  • Testing with real visitors and customers
Outcome

Attention that turns into attachment.

An experience people choose to spend time in, share and return to, and a story they remember long after.

  • Experience concept & narrative — the feeling, before the format
  • Immersive journeys & storyboards — every moment, in sequence
  • Interactive & augmented spaces — see it, step in, explore
  • Installations & projection mapping — culture you walk into

What we did
Projection mapping, environments and interactive installations, designed and delivered by my own studio.
Result
Two decades of immersive cultural work for institutions in Athens.

Exploration · A City and Its People

Cities to wander, not just look up

Challenge
Maps show where things are, not what a city feels like.
What we did
Athens and Istanbul drawn by hand from real street data, alive with transport, weather, sun and moon, and the imagined stories of their people.
Result
Two cities to wander and explore, open to anyone with a link.

The first two are from earlier roles, before EY; the third is an independent exploration. Client names are withheld.

Questions, answered.

Why not just a website?

Pages are skimmed. When the story matters, letting people step into it and explore is what makes them feel, remember and act.

What makes an experience immersive?

Not the technology. It is being drawn in: a world that responds to you, details that reward curiosity, and a feeling that stays after you leave.

When is augmented reality worth it?

When seeing something in place changes the decision: a product in a living room, an object in its original setting. If it does not, a simpler experience is usually enough.
